Hello Everyone from the West Coast!
Man Its
been a fast week! And im sorry in advance for a short and super lame
E-Mail but aint too much been going on so :) Here it goes
Tuesday May 29th-
Well, after my last e mail I sent, we went and taught Isabella again!
Sad story though, we asked her to pray and she said should would for the
closing prayer...and when that came around she honestly broke down in
tears cause she didnt want to :'( Sadest thing i've ever seen. But then i
followed a prompting (Added benefit of being a missionary ;) ) and said
we'll leave the room and you can pray with your dad and brother. She
did :) SWAGGGG Hahaha. After that i got my Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
on and chopped down some trees while helping at a boys home. A first for
sure but, i love to help :) That night we taught The Harrington's and
answered some questions they had (they are getting baptized this summer)
but some lady at their work said that after they get baptized then the
mormons come in and take their t.v's and computers...? Yeah...not true
haha. Good Tuesday.
Wednesday May 30th-Today was a pretty dece day.
Had my 3rd District metting and taught no lessons because everyones out
of town :( But its cool. We had dinner with the Alm's Family.
Thursday May 31st- Today we helped Matt Alms do some
land scaping in his backyard. Yeah...Im turning into a man
finally...who would've thought? Haha
Friday June 1st-Saturday June 2nd-
Haha We helped Matt Alms finish up his backyard. It was honestly all we
did because everyone was out of town and yeah. When all else fails with
teaching appointments and Tracting falls through, service for the
members is always great :)
Sunday June 3rd-Craziest sunday of my life.
Heres the background story. Theres this guy we ran into while teaching
one of our other investigators, his names Josh. And its been super hard
to see him and meet with him cause he flakes. We saw him Saturday and
invited him to church. So during sacrament meeting i was praying so good
for him to show...sacrament meeting ended and he wasnt there :( BUT
when we walked out of the chapel, he walked in with his daughter and
girlfriend!!! THE CHURCH IS TRUE!!! Haha it was so awesome to see that
he came. He said he only came cause he "Needed to find Jesus" haha He
told me he doesnt like Elder Decker because he "Thinks Hes a Fruit"
Hahahahahahha
Which brings us to today. See, told you this weeks e mail was going to be lame :( Sorry about it. But I guess some good news is Elder Inoke is
finally in Nicaraguaasdfqwae?! Yup..still dont know how to spell it
haha. Good luck uso! Stay safe! Also we got another confirmed baptism
for this summer so we're up to 5!!!! :) Thats about all the news i have
for the past 6 days or so.
To all my Lost Boys, keep praying, keep preparing
and god bless. Hes looking out for all of us and i Pray for you on the
daily. Study Study Study is all i can say! I love you all!
